FineArt Resume:

Scott Sherman received his formal artistic training at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. More recently, he has refined this style while working at Walt Disney Imagineering.

"At Art Center, I was fortunate to be able to study with such fine painters and instructors as John Asaro, Dan McCaw, Verne Wilson and Harry Carmean. My focus at that time, however, was more on illustration than fine art. As a result, their teachings remained more or less dormant for years.

It was at Disney that I rediscovered my love of oil painting. There, I had the opportunity to study with some of the finest painters alive today. Disney provided weekly workshops as well as frequent seminars and lectures with artists that included Tom Gilleon, Dan Goozee, Steve Huston, Ron Pekar, Carolyn Anderson, Sheila Reiman, Ned Mueller, William Reese, Jacques Valin, and Glenn Vilppu.

I credit these fine artists with helping me to hone my artistic style and inspiring me to express it. My sincere thanks to those listed and to all who have influenced me along the way."

Scott has exhibited work in the annual Ryman Foundation show at Walt Disney Imagineering, the Foray Gallery in Ashland, OR and is currently represented by the Dana Gallery of Missoula, MT.
