"I really enjoyed working on this project as it was a great opportunity to stretch my skills. We were a very small group of 6 designers working in a top secret back room at Universal, where even the company's top executives were not allowed to enter.
The team was charged with developing the entire park, which was a very unique challenge. As well this was the time of the Northridge earthquake, and, like some nomadic band of artists, we moved 5 times to 3 different buildings in the course of a year.
When the concept and design development phases were complete and the park was going into production, I left to take a position at Walt Disney Imagineering. I have yet to see the finished park, but I'm sure that when I do, it will be a rush of incredible memories."
